Facing the cracks in every of your house area? May be signs of a bigger problem.
ICracks in interior walls are a possible symptom of an issue in the foundation that likely requires repair. If the crack is large, the wall is bulging and/or bowing, contacting a structural engineer might be a good call. If the wall is just cracked, there are a few things to look at to try to understand the problem.

Is the floor on either side (or both sides) of the wall sloping in one direction?
Have windows and/or doors nearby started to stick or open/close improperly?
Have you noticed stair step shaped cracks in the exterior brick wall near the interior wall with the crack?

Are you noticing cracks in your walls?
Are you noticing water leaking through a hole in the basement wall?
Are you noticing water leaking through cracks in the wall in your basement?

Two possible causes of cracks in interior walls and leaks in the basement wall are dropped footings (part of the foundation), or uneven settling of the foundation.
The best way to solve the problem, whatever it is, is to call an expert who can come inspect and design a custom solution to address the complete range of problems.
In the meantime, here are a few quick tips:
1. Keep your gutters functioning properly – keep them clean and directing water away from the foundation.
2. Make sure surface water drains away from the foundation instead of pooling near the house.
3. Do not plant trees too close to the house – roots can break into the foundation.
